It focuses on how to effectively use your skills to have a positive impact on university communities and broader society. It delves into the what and how of social entrepreneurship, whether it be running a not-for-profit organisation, overcoming organisational problems, or solving pressing societal challenges. It brings together a panel of world-renowned leaders including:
Jon Huggett: Jon is a global advisor to CEOs of both for-profit businesses and non-profits. He has 25 years experience in leading enterprises, including being a Partner at Bain, a Partner at Bridgespan, and Manager of the Boston Consulting Group. At Bridgespan he helped nonprofit clients tackle issues including growth with constrained resources and decision making in complex organizations.
http://www.huggett.com/Cheryl Kernot: Cheryl was Leader of the Australian Democrats from 1993-1997 and the Member for Dickson and a Labor Shadow Minister from 1998-2001. Since then Cheryl has worked as Programme Director of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship (UK), as Director of Learning at the School for Social Entrepreneurs in London, and now as Director of Social Enterprise at the Centre for Social Impact.
